UsingJsonSerializationOverWebApi with EntityFramework

Sep 7, 2015 at 1:45 PM
Would be possible to adapt the "RemoteQueryable\10_UsingJsonSerializationOverWebApi" sample, in view to execute the expressions sent from the the web client using the EntityFramework, instead of the InMemoryDataStore ?
How would be possible on the web server side to call the ExecuteWithEntityFramework(...) method with a DbContext as parameter, as in the "RemoteQueryableToEntityFrameworkWithNavigationProperties\WcfServer" sample ?
Thanks in advance.

Simply install the nuget package Remote.Linq.EntityFramework.
This will provide the extension method ExecuteWithEntityFramework(...).

Please note:
You don't necessarily need ExecuteWithEntityFramework(...). This method is only relevant if you make use of the Include(...) method to define eager-loading of navigation properties on client-side. In case you're not using Include(..) you can go with standard Execute(...) method instead.
